The Alum House
A two-story cottage originally built for the Northwest Gloucestershire Water Board about 100 years ago. This unique property has recently been converted to a high standard into a bijou dwelling for a couple of discerning holidaymakers.

The cottage features a natural timbered vaulted ceiling in the lounge and a restored Victorian spiral staircase leading down to the comfortable double bedroom.

There is ample off-road private parking with even room for your trailed boat or small caravan.

The Alum House is located just 50 yards from Thomas Telford’s iron bridge over the River Severn and is ideally placed for miles of riverside walks along both the Severn & Avon. Boat launching is nearby and we can even provide temporary moorings for a trailed boat if you wish.
