2 Cottages - West Leas Farm lies in beautiful North Yorkshire, six miles west of the small Cathedral City of Ripon in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, between the villages of Kirkby Malzeard and Galphay.

Archway Cottage is an 18th Century barn recently converted to a high standard into two cottages. They are warm and welcoming with wonderful views from windows over open countryside.

West Leas is a small traditional dales farm with just 50 sheep and 6 cows. Lambs and calves can also be seen. It is quiet and peaceful but not isolated. The village shop is only 1 mile away.

The Farm is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, with easy access to the many small towns of North Yorkshire and 'James Herriot Country'. You could visit a Market Town almost every day.

The ancient Cathedral City of Ripon is only 6 miles away, with quaint shops and an open market every Thursday. The ancient tradition of the Hornblower is not to be missed in the Market Square every evening at 9pm.The Market Square has recently been repaved and it's beauty increased. Ripon Racecourse often called the Garden racecourse. The narrow ancient streets of Ripon are now much quieter because of the bypass taking most of the traffic to the East of this small City. Ripon has a selection of restaurants and take- aways, small shops, and some of the major retail stores. The Spa Baths offer swimming or sauna, and are adjacent to the beautiful Spa Gardens.

Archway Cottage offers 1 double, 1 twin (both with exposed beams), fold up bed available, bathroom with shower over bath, large oak beamed lounge/dining room, oak fitted kitchen.
