"So cosy and warm - just heaven". The cottage has a most attractive decor throughout and has two bedrooms that sleep a family of four. Both bedrooms and lounge have night storage heaters and the lounge also has the benefit of a wood burning stove to add a special glow at the end of the day.
"Magnificent scenery, quiet roads, everywhere so accessible, each journey is a delight". Set in the peaceful area known as 'Back o' Skiddaw' this is as the Lakes once used to be, far from the maddening crowds.
"It is equipped with all you could want". The well equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar, electric cooker, microwave & a washing machine is also provided.
"Thanks for making us so welcome". The cottage is within the grounds of Woodlands Country House and our cottage guests have the advantage of the dining room and bar facility should they wish, in the evening.
