The narrow gauge Wells & Walsingham Light Railway runs along the north edge of Wighton and the steam trains can be seen from the garden at Cotman Cottage. The nearest shops are in Wells or Walsingham, 2.5 miles away and there is a Safeway supermarket at Fakenham 7 miles away.
