Cotman Cottage was built in the early 1700s and has recently been restored to create a comfortable and warm holiday home. It is Grade 2 Listed.

The ground floor has an oak-beamed sitting room with an enormous brick inglenook fireplace in which a log-burning stove sits to provide warmth for chilly evenings to supplement the underfloor heating beneath traditional pamment tiles.

Wighton is a small, quiet farming village with a fine flint church and one local pub. The narrow gauge Wells & Walsingham Light Railway runs along the north edge of Wighton and the steam trains can be seen from the garden at Cotman Cottage. The nearest shops are in Wells or Walsingham, 2.5 miles away and there is a Safeway supermarket at Fakenham 7 miles away.

The glorious beaches of the North Norfolk coast - Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham - are within a few minutes drive as are the charming coastal villages of Stiffkey, Morston and Blakeney. Opportunities to walk, cycle, sail, birdwatch, play golf, collect antiques, visit historic houses and churches are all around.

This property offers 1 king room, 1 twin room, bathroom with bath and hand held shower mixer, large sitting room, kitchen, separate pantry/utility.
