 Victoria House is a splendid Town House, quietly tucked away on Whitby’s West Cliff, a few minutes from the harbour.
The West Cliff of Whitby with its marvellous views of the Abbey, Sandsend and out to sea, is the home of Victoria House, a very comfortable Town House, quietly situated, yet only a short walk into the old town across the harbour swing bridge.
The property has been beautifully designed in its original Victorian theme to provide spacious and luxurious accommodation for six people.
Heavy drapes, chaise longues, deep comfy sofas, four posters and soft lamps make Victoria House a delight to stroll out from on a warm summer evening; or retreat to, draw a hot, steaming bath and settle in for a stormy winter’s night.
On the ground floor is the lounge with gas coal fire. Fully fitted kitchen with the original built-in black range and dining facilities. Off the lower hallway is a washroom with toilet and basin. The staircase leads to the first floor where the delightful four poster room awaits, and a lovely, quiet sitting room. There is a bathroom with shower on this level. At the top of the stairs, there are a further two bedrooms, each with two plump single beds. This floor also has its own bathroom.
