"Tideway" was built for my grandfather in 1935. He was a fisherman who worked from Beadnell harbour.

"Tideway" overlooks the sea and on stormy days spray has been known to hit the front windows! This does not make the house cold as it is fully centrally heated with double glazing. The living room also has a coal fire, which adds to the atmosphere in the evenings.

Beadnell is a small village with two shops, pubs serving meals and a fish and chip shop. There is a small working harbour and a sandy bay as well as the beach "Tideway" overlooks. "Tideway makes an excellent base for visiting the surrounding area including the Farne Islands, local castles and Alnwick Garden.

The Cottage offers 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 1 single, bathroom with wash basin, bath and toilet, lounge, dining room and separate kitchen.
