The area is ideal for walking with: the Macclesfield Canal and it's locks just up the road; the Manor Park and Lake; the Dane Valley; and the local hill called Bosley Cloud where there are views towards Buxton and the Peak District; Stoke on Trent and its famous Potteries; the Cheshire Plain to Beeston Castle and the Welsh Hills and to the north you can see Manchester.



The Coach House is a 2 double bedroomed barn conversion offering the modern comforts of under floor heating with the features of beamed ceilings and stone floors.

The Shippon is a 2 bedroomed shippon conversion offering the modern comforts of underfloor heating and features oak beams and an open fire.



The local towns offer an insight into history with Macclesfield being a silk town and Buxton a Spa town. The area has a wealth of interesting houses to visit: Chatsworth House, Tatton Park with its Royal Horticultural Show (the country's answer to the Chelsea Flower Show). Gawsworth Hall, an Elizabethan house with its open-air theatre in the summer. Easy access from the M6 motorway and Manchester Airport.





The Coach House offers 2 double bedrooms + sofa bed for use in either room, bathroom with bath & shower, lounge, kitchen/dining room, garden area with furniture & bbq.
