 Welcombe Barton is a fine example of a medieval farmhouse located in the rural parish of Welcombe with its ancient church, thatched pub, village hall, pottery and shop. This is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has one of the most breathtaking stretches of the South West Coast Path is just a few minutes drive away, as is the little beach of Welcombe Mouth. An ideal spot for walking or just getting away from it all.
The farmhouse which is owned by an educational charity is only available for Christmas and New Year and again for two weeks in August. It is possible to rent the accommodation for short breaks at other times dependant upon availabilty between scheduled rural skills courses. See our web site for course brochure.
