Keepers Cottage has been lovingly restored and retains many of its charming original features. The cottage adjoins the hall, which dates back to 15th century and was used in the 1800's as a hunting lodge.



The cottage has beautiful panoramic view over the North Yorkshire countryside and overlooks a fishing pond.



It is situated in a convenient position for walks in the Yorkshire Dales or trips to nerby Richmond and Barnard Castle, with its famous Bowes museum. Slightly further a field are the historic cities of Durham and York.



The village of Dalton has the Travellers Rest pub, excellent for food and drink, while there are many more superb eating and drinking establishments within easy reach.
