This flat is set on a working farm where poultry and animals can be seen all around. There are also plenty of ducks that enjoy being fed! The farm house is beautifully situated, tucked under the fell with a beck in front of it. It has appeared as a typical Lakeland farm in various books.

Dippers often nest under the bridge over the beck and herons are to be seen in the valley. Kingfishers have recently returned. The owners have established a lot of new woodland, much of it is oak and beech as well as Christmas trees and beautiful larches.

The flat has been converted from the old hayloft. It is modern inside, double-glazed and cosy. The basic accommodation is for 4 people. There is ample car parking in the farm yard for two cars. The farm is located approximatly 6 miles (9.6 km) from Keswick where there are a good selection of shops, banks etc. The nearest Post Office is two miles (3.2 km) away. The bus stop is about a mile (1.6 km) down the public footpath. There is a regular bus service (the '555') that connects the north of the Lake District to the south.

This flat offers 1 twin-bedded room and a sofa bed in the main room which is a kitchen/lounge/diner, bathroom facilities.
