Ashes Common Farm
Ashes Common Farm is situated near Castle Hill, Almondbury, surrounded by fields and with magnificent views over Huddersfield and the tributary valleys. The cruck frame and rafters of Cruck Cottage date from this period, whilst the timber framework of the Barn House is listed as early 18th century. Woodbine Cottage

Woodbine cottage is a Grade II listed building, being of historical and architectural interest. Built of local stone, with a traditional stone-tiled roof, parts of the cottage date from the 17th century and the rest from the 19th century.
The area is rich with historic attractions, such as Blenheim Place at Woodstock and Warwick Castle. Shakespeare's Stratford-Upon-Avon is 18 miles away, and Cheltenham Spa with its famous racecourse only 21 miles. Oxford, Bath and Cirencester are also easily reached.
